Kossuth Regional Health Center (KRHC) is excited to announce a major advancement in surgical care with the addition of the da Vinci 5 (DV5) surgical robot, bringing leading-edge, minimally invasive technology to patients in the local community.
Affectionately named “Kevin” by the surgical team, the new robotic system will support physicians in performing both general and gynecologic procedures. This innovative technology enhances surgical precision, allowing for smaller incisions, reduced pain, and improved recovery times for patients.
The da Vinci 5 system represents another step forward in KRHC’s commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care close to home.
