Dr. Jaren Ricker is originally from Mt. Ayr, Iowa. He joined KRHC in partnership with Northwest Iowa Surgeons in August 2026. He completed his undergraduate and medical school training at the University of Iowa. He then went on to complete a general surgery residency at Methodist in Des Moines. He and his wife and children live in Spirit Lake. His surgical interests include robotic colectomy, pH probe testing, and thyroid surgery. In his free time he enjoys boating and fishing.
