Alex joined Kossuth Regional Health Center full-time in 2025, having previously worked in our Emergency Department on an as-needed basis. Born and raised in North Carolina, Alex moved to Iowa in 2019.
He received his undergraduate degrees in Exercise and Sports Science and Emergency Medical Care from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Western Carolina University. He then went on to graduate school at Duke University, specializing as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. Alex served as a paramedic for seven years before taking the role of Critical Care/Emergency Room Nurse.
