The Kossuth Regional Health Center will kick off their annual Auxiliary Cares Fundraiser (previously known as Tag Day) on May 12th.
KRHC is partnering with Algona Fareway again this year to “round up for good health.” Community members are encouraged to shop at Fareway between May 11 and May 17 and round up to the nearest dollar to support Kossuth Regional Health Center.
Funds raised this year will benefit an exciting new service at KRHC: Pain Management. Pain Management services will be offered by Jacob Miller, MSN, CRNA, ARNP beginning early this summer. Funds raised will go toward the purchase of necessary equipment and supplies to get this service up and running, enabling the local treatment of painful conditions affecting the spine, joints, and musculoskeletal system.
“Pain management services are essential for improving the quality of life for patients dealing with acute or chronic pain, and we are excited to help get this service up and running at KRHC,” said Sande Rodemeyer, KRHC Auxilian and Fundraiser Committee member.
This annual fundraiser has previously raised funds for multiple projects that benefit patient care at Kossuth Regional Health Center including room renovations, updated equipment, training devices and many other projects.
