Nursing Opportunities

Kossuth Regional Health Center encourages current nursing students to apply before completing their program or passing boards. Med/Surg RN positions qualify for our Student Loan Repayment Program, offering up to $360/month! 

In this role, you will plan, provide, and evaluate nursing care to meet the diverse needs of patients, ensuring competent care across all age groups while addressing their physical, spiritual, social, and psychological needs. The position involves working in the Med/Surg unit, with additional cross-training in the ER or OB. Nurses work 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule, including every third weekend and holiday, with competitive pay incentives for nights, weekends, and holidays. 

To be eligible, candidates must hold an Iowa RN license (a contingency of employment), enroll in the Nurse Residency Program upon hire, and successfully complete a competency-based orientation. Current BCLS certification is required, and training for ACLS, PALS, NRP, and/or TNCC will be provided on-site. Employment is contingent on successful background and pre-employment screenings.
