Dr. Lampe recognized as “Exceptional Healer” by Mercy Medical Center

Kossuth Regional Health Center family physician Dr. Michael Lampe was honored at the hospital’s campaign kickoff on December 5 with the Golden Stethoscope Award from Mercy Medical Center.

Mercy Golden Awards recognize health care providers who are admired for customer service, contributions to the organization and practice in their selected field. These providers not only exemplify Mercy’s mission, values and service excellence standards of behavior, but also demonstrate a commitment and a passion to healing.

“Dr. Lampe is known for going beyond the standard when it comes to customer service,” said KRHC administrator Scott Curtis.  “He interacts easily and often with his patients and their families even after they leave his exam room.  We are fortunate to have such a talented medical staff, and Dr. Lampe is an important part of that team.”

The Golden Stethoscope Award honors health care providers with an exceptional practice of healing that meet the following criteria: accessibility/approachability, coordination of patient care, degree of patient/family involvement and interaction, successful patient outcomes, holistic and exemplifies Mercy’s standards of behavior.
